Essential Deets

Officially launched in October 2015, the mission of A Draft Supreme is to make the ostracizing of historically marginalized people and understudied subject matter HISTORY itself. We aim to transition such intersectional identities and areas of study from being silenced or subjugated in higher education and related realms of power to being established and amplified in these same spaces.

In today’s hostile, often devolving climate, we champion those insistent on evolution…though the costs are great.

This is addressed in a few ways:

1. Serve as an ally by editing academic writing by and about people of historically marginalized identities and understudied subject matter.

2. Demystify college preparation, the admissions process, college app essay writing, and the initial experience for aspiring high school students, parents, and educators, as well as undergraduates through facilitated workshops and seminars.

3. Provide contractual writing and facilitation services to nonprofits and organizations that have missions aligned with A Draft Supreme’s.
